Metro Blue Line: Light rail transit system which runs from 7th Street in Downtown L.A., through the communities of Vernon, Huntington Park, South Gate, Watts, Compton, Carson, finally ending in downtown Long Beach.
Metro Red Line: Heavy-rail subway. Travels under Downtown Los Angeles from Union Station to the Civic Center, the Jewelry, Retail and Financial Districts, and MacArthur Park in the Westlake district. The line branches in two directions - one towards the Mid-Wilshire/Koreatown area at Wilshire and Western and also to Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley, with stops at Universal City and North Hollywood.
Metro Green Line: Light rail line, running east-west through Los Angeles County, serving the communities of  Norwalk, Downey, Lynwood, Watts, Inglewood, Lennox, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach.
Metrolink: Southern California commuter rail system.
Angels Flight Railway: 25 cents a ride. Connects Downtown L.A.'s historic core, the Broadway retail district, and the Grand Central Market with the modern financial district atop the hill, ending at the California Plaza Watercourt. Featuring shops, restaurants, and public live entertainment space accentuated by fascinating water-jet displays. The Museum of Contemporary Art is also nearby.
Amtrak: L.A. Union Station with statewide and nationwide service.
